The Brightest Night  -- June 6, 2007

Thanks to your generosity, The Jed Foundation raised more than $1 million at our annual gala event on June 6, 2007.

The evening honored U.S. Senator Gordon H. Smith and Sharon Smith with our Voice of Mental Health Award, and our Corporate Award was presented to Philip Burguieres, Vice Chairman of the Houston Texans and Chairman and CEO of EMC Holdings.  Featured guests included Claire Shipman from ABC News, Brittany Snow from the upcoming movie Hairspray and Dr. Richard Kadison from Harvard University Health Services.
