Week of September 3, 2012 – The Jed Foundation
Jed Foundation Executive Director John MacPhee and Victor Schwartz, MD, Jed Foundation Medical Director will talk about their work nationally to reduce the rate of suicide and the prevalence of emotional distress among college and university students. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students, so this program on awareness and prevention is timely, as September is Suicide Prevention Month.
