The Jed Foundation

The goal of The Jed Foundation is to effect change on college campuses and within American society, law, and business such that suicide on college campuses is preventable and mental wellness among adolescents a top priority.

The foundation enjoys tremendous support from the communities it serves and affiliated parties. Since the date of its creation, more than 4 million people have read or seen media stories on the foundation and its work. Almost 15% of the nation’s colleges, representing a third of all college students, now participate in its pioneering website, Ulifeline™. Its programs are bringing critical information to students, promoting change on college campuses, and encouraging parents to become informed mental health consumers.

As the foundation grows, the number of its programs will increase and the range of its influence will expand. This is all due to our many supporters, to whom we give thanks.
