Phil (17K pdf file) and Donna (17K pdf file) Satow started The Jed Foundation in 2000 after their youngest son, Jed, 20, a university student, took his life in 1998. The Satows have turned their personal tragedy into a nationwide effort to reprioritize mental health on college campuses and prevent suicide from affecting another family and campus community.
