The Jed Foundation

On June 4, 2008, over 450 supporters of The Jed Foundation came together in The Central Park Tent at Tavern on the Green for a night of Infinite Possibilities and raised over a million dollars to support the Foundation's programs that are working to decrease emotional distress and prevent suicide among America's 18 million college students.

Highlights of the evening included a performance by Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik and a distinguished list of honorees including Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy (D-RI), Stephen Friedman - General Manager of mtvU, and Tony Zook - President and Chief Executive Officer of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.  The 2008 Jerry Greenspan Student Voice of Mental Health Award was also presented to the Alive Campaign from Baylor University.  The evening was hosted by Claire Shipman of ABC News.
