“I’m a veteran and..” is the theme of a new series of public service announcements released today by the Half of Us campaign and developed with support from the Bob Woodruff Foundation . The spots were developed after focus groups with student veterans revealed a need to shatter stereotypes about male and female veterans to help unify campus communities. A diverse group of student veterans participated in the spots and an interactive online experience is currently under development that will help students and campus professionals better understand the perspective of veterans transitioning from combat to college.
