Public service campaigns supported by HBO and MTV are among the nominees for this year's Public and Community Service Emmy Awards.

These Emmys award TV professionals as well as non-profit groups for "programming that advances the public good."

Two of the nominations for national public service announcements are for efforts by think.mtv.com. They include the campaigns "Holocaust Awareness: Living Room" and "Holocaust Awareness: Subway." HBO, in partnership with The Kaiser Family Foundation, the National Basketball Association and the Global Business Coalition, is also nominated in this category for their "Get Tested" campaign.

In the community service campaign category, think.mtv.com also scored a nomination for the "Think MTV" campaign. Sibling mtvU, with The Jed Foundation, is also nominated in community service for "Half of Us," while The Kaiser Foundation and MTV are nominated for "A Minute Contest."

The winners will be announced at a luncheon ceremony on Nov. 7 at Rockefeller Center in New York. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges including community leaders, educators, business people, TV professionals and artists.
