This Privacy Policy describes the type of information The Jed Foundation collects from the Websites (as defined in our Terms of Use) and how that information may be used. This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Use, as may be modified from time to time, govern your use of the Websites.
What information does The Jed Foundation collect?
You are not required to provide information, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, demographic information, or other information, that might reasonably be used to identify you personally (“Personal Information”) to make general use of the Website. What does The Jed Foundation do with collected information?

This Jed Foundation makes reasonable efforts to implement commercially reasonable safeguards to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Personal Information we obtain from you. Unfortunately, data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be secure nor is any security system completely secure. The Jed Foundation does not guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or provide to us online. We request that you do not send, and The Jed Foundation will not be liable for your sending sensitive or confidential information electronically.
Children Under the Age of 13
The Websites are not directed at children under the age of 13. If The Jed Foundation knows that a user is under the age of 13, we will NOT intentionally:
1. collect online contact information from that user without prior parental consent, except where used to respond directly on a one-time basis to a child’s specific request;
2. collect personally identifiable offline contact information from that user without prior parental consent;
