Fraternity & Sorority Life Resources

Greek-Letter Organizations Can Be Mental Health Champions on Campus

Fraternities and sororities have a powerful opportunity to join the growing and vital movement to protect the emotional well-being of teens and young adults.

The Jed Foundation (JED) offers customized, evidence-based resources, tools, and workshops for Greek organizations to strengthen the emotional well-being of their members and become a model community of care on campus. Greek-letter organizations have long been leaders in building close-knit campus communities. One out of 10 undergraduate students joins a fraternity or sorority, and they often influence and shape campus culture, serve as student leaders, and go on to leadership positions in government, politics, and culture. By elevating their members’ mental health and making emotional well-being a cornerstone of what they do, Greek organizations have the power to build even stronger leaders who will carry forward the message that mental health is health.

Fundraise for JED

Neon Nights

Neon Nights is a one-of-a-kind, student-led fundraising event and glow dance party. Light up your campus while raising awareness and essential funds for mental health services in support of JED.

Service and philanthropy are at the core of what fraternities and sororities do. There are many ways to support JED, and fundraising is among the most helpful. If you and your members are interested in other ways to fundraise for JED, check out our DIY fundraising program or contact Thea Zunick, Ed.D. at thea@jedfoundation.org for more information.
